Kabir Mehra
"The implementation of the microbial bio-enzyme protocol will begin in the western agrarian clusters effective next Monday,"
I announce, my voice echoing clearly through the packed PMO press briefing room. Flashbulbs ignite, blindingly bright against the polished wood of the podium.
I take a brief pause, looking directly into the primary camera lens. "And let me be entirely transparent-this strategic shift was not devised by a legacy committee.
The comprehensive policy structure, the fiscal reallocation map, and the direct negotiation with IISc Bangalore were completely engineered by my new Private Residential Assistant, Devansh Joshi."
A collective gasp and rapid whispering ripple through the media gallery. Behind the press line, I catch sight of Devansh standing near the exit, his eyes wide, his face instantly turning a deep, vivid crimson. He didn't expect the public acknowledgement.
By afternoon, the national news tickers are flooded: PM Mehra breaks administrative norms to credit 23-year-old tech specialist for historic agricultural reform. Public praises PM's youth-centric, merit-driven governance.
"You're a madman, Kabir," a warm, cheerful voice barks from the entrance of the private wing as I return.
I look up to see my cousin, Ishaan Mehra-the son of my uncle Devendra-walking into the study. Unlike his treacherous, conniving father, Ishaan has always been straight-as-an-arrow, a brilliant grassroots social worker who hates the backroom scheming of the party.
Walking closely behind him is my mother, Gayatri Devi, her face still a rigid, sour mask of disapproval.
"Ishaan," I greet, the tension in my shoulders relaxing by a fraction. "I thought you were in the ancestral district."
"I was, until your mother dragged me back to help mediate your 'authoritarian crisis,'" Ishaan chuckles, throwing his arms around me in a brief, heavy hug.
He steps back, his eyes instantly landing on Devansh, who is entering with a stack of media logs. "And you must be Devansh. Brother, your policy framework is brilliant. The farmers in my block are already celebrating the subsidy shift. Exceptional work."
Devansh blushes, offering a polite nod. "Thank you, Mr. Mehra. I just analyzed the raw data."
"Call me Ishaan," my cousin insists, clapping a warm hand against Devansh's shoulder.
Kiara suddenly bursts into the room, her eyes lighting up the moment she spots my cousin. "Ishaan chachu!" she squeals, sprinting across the floor and jumping straight into his arms.
"There's my favorite little baddie!" Ishaan laughs, spinning her around while my mother watches from the doorway, her lips thinned into a dangerous line.

Kiara Mehra
Everyone is completely distracted by Ishaan chachu arrival and the big news reports. Papa is talking about agricultural budgets, and Devansh is busy sorting out files. It's the perfect time.
I slide onto the window seat in the adjacent corridor, pulling out my hidden iPad and opening the encrypted chat app. I've been talking to ShadowAlpha_99 for a whole year now.
She is my only real outlet, the only one who listens when I complain about the suffocating rules of the residence.
> Kiki_Mehra: My dad just gave his assistant a huge credit on TV! The whole country is talking about it.
> ShadowAlpha_99: That's cool, Kiki. Your dad must be someone really important if he's on TV all the time.
> Kiki_Mehra: He is. I guess I can tell you now since we've been friends for so long... My dad is Kabir Mehra. The Prime Minister.
> ShadowAlpha_99: Wow... The Prime Minister's daughter? That's insane, Kiki. I'm so impressed. Listen, if you ever need anything, or if you ever want to get out of that house, you have to help me help you. Whatever you want, I can arrange it. Just tell me more about your daily security schedule.
I frown slightly, a tiny inkling of doubt hitting my mind at the sudden, sharp shift in their tone. Before I can type a reply, a shadow falls over my screen.
I look up quickly, snapping the iPad shut against my chest. Papa is standing right in front of me, his eyes dark, narrow, and intensely suspicious.
"What are you doing with that device, Kiara?" Kabir asks, his clinical, authoritative tone freezing the air. "You've been hovering over it for hours."
"Just... just standard educational games, Papa," I lie, my heart thumping against my ribs.
He reaches out to take the device, his thumb brushing the casing, but Anand suddenly calls out from the study: "Prime Minister, the intelligence chief is on the secure line."
Papa curses softly under his breath, shooting me one final, warning look. "We will review your digital logs tonight, Kiara. No exceptions." He turns on his heel and storms back into the study, getting swallowed by the state machinery once again.

Devansh Joshi
"Thank you, Kabir," I whisper, the door of the empty briefing room clicking shut behind us as the evening staff begins to clear the main floor.
The hallway is dimly lit, the silent security cameras the only witnesses to our presence.
Kabir stops walking, turning his tall, commanding frame toward me. "For what?"
"For giving me credit on national television," I say, looking up at him, my heart doing a wild, erratic dance.
My crush on him has turned into something deep, heavy, and completely uncontrollable.
"You didn't have to do that. You could have claimed it as a government directive."
"I don't steal from the people I care about, Devansh," Kabir says, his deep baritone dropping into that low, intoxicating register that makes my knees turn to water.
He steps closer, his gaze dropping to my lips. My breath catches. The pure, grounding power of his proximity entirely consumes me.
As he takes another step, his foot catches on the edge of the heavy runner carpet. He loses his balance for a split second, and instinctively, his hands lock around my waist to steady himself.
My hands fly up to grip his broad shoulders. The sheer momentum of his six-foot frame sends us both tilting backward.
Thud.
We hit the carpeted floor together, Kabir's heavy, muscular body landing directly over mine, pinning me flat against the floor.
The breath is completely knocked out of my lungs, but before I can even inhale, Kabir's control visibly snaps.
The unyielding, arrogant Prime Minister mask shatters completely, replaced by a dark, consuming, feral desire. He doesn't pull away.
He leans down, his large hand wrapping firmly around the back of my neck, and pulls my face up, capturing my lips in a hard, desperate, bruising kiss.
My brain completely short-circuits. Our first kiss.
It's deep, rough, and entirely intoxicating. I don't stop him. I can't. I slide my hands up into his dark hair, gripping the strands as I pull him closer, completely hypnotized by his touch. He deepens the kiss, his tongue sliding past my parted lips with a commanding, possessive force that leaves me entirely breathless, drowning in the exact dark fantasy I've been craving since the conclave.
Suddenly, the heavy click of the outer corridor doors signals the return of the evening security detail.
Kabir tears his mouth away, his chest heaving, his eyes wild as he realizes the absolute disaster if the SPG walks in on the Prime Minister pinning his assistant to the floor. Without a word, he slides his strong arms under my knees and my back, lifting my body effortlessly into his arms.
"Act unconscious," Kabir mutters against my ear, his voice a ragged, desperate growl. "For the staff's sake. Now."
I instantly shut my eyes, letting my head drop limply against his shoulder, going completely slack as he carries me down the private corridor. I hear the muffled gasps of two housekeeping staff members as we pass.
"The assistant has fainted due to sudden exhaustion from the policy briefing," Kabir barks at them, his voice cold, arrogant, and entirely commanding even while his heart is hammering like crazy against my chest. "Clear the hallway. I am administering first-aid."

Kabir Mehra
I kick the door of the guest suite open with my boot, stride inside, and slam it shut behind us, throwing the heavy deadbolt into place with a sharp, definitive click.
I look down at Devansh. He slowly opens his dark, beautiful eyes, a breathless, dazed smile playing on his flushed lips.
He looks completely hypnotized, entirely under my control as I lay him down onto the soft silk mattress of the king-sized bed.
I don't give him a single second to breathe. I crowd over him instantly, my large hands pinning his wrists down against the pillows as I drop back down, my mouth slamming against his with a primitive, unleashed hunger.
"Kabir..." Devansh gasps into the kiss, his body arching up into mine, completely yielding to the heavy weight of my torso.
The kiss turns dark, frantic, and entirely consuming.
I tangle my fingers back into his soft curls, tilting his head to deepen the contact, tasting the sweet, addictive essence of him.
He doesn't fight me; he drinks me in like a man dying of thirst, letting me take every single piece of his control.
In the quiet, locked sanctuary of the room, far from the media, the mandates, and the crown, I claim his lips over and over again, entirely
obsessed, completely undone.
